That's just it, I'd say that blogs/diaries are gold mines...even yours! What are the intentions of hard news stories? I'd say, to keep the public well-informed and prepared for the world we live in. It takes a strong personal awareness to understand the facts and truths that news articles present, hence, my love for personal memoirs, diaries and blogs. To each her own...hugs.
